About Vegas Valley Winery

Vegas Valley Winery gives Las Vegas-area visitors a true production-winery option without requiring a trip to a traditional vineyard region. Located in Henderson's Eastgate Road beverage district, the winery opened in 2018 after Nevada law changes created a path for a commercial winery in the Las Vegas Valley. Its current ownership and winemaking story grew from Grape Expectations, the local winemaking school that had been teaching people to make wine for years before Vegas Valley Winery opened to the public. The important distinction for Wino Notion is that this is not merely a wine bar. Vegas Valley states that production takes place on site, from crushing and pressing fruit through winemaking and bottling.

That makes the Henderson tasting room useful for visitors who want to discuss the production process while remaining close to the Strip and other Las Vegas attractions. The winery serves its own wines and ciders, offers flights and wine by the glass or bottle, and maintains a busy calendar of live music, tastings, educational programs and special events. Current first-party hours list Wednesday and Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m., Friday from 2 to 10 p.m., Saturday from noon to 10 p.m. And Sunday from noon to 6 p.m., with Monday and Tuesday closed. The winery says reservations are not required for parties of six or fewer, which makes it relatively easy to add to an evening itinerary.

Larger parties, private tastings and event-driven visits should be coordinated in advance. For Wino Notion, Vegas Valley is strongest as an urban-winery recommendation. Guests should not expect rows of grapevines outside the tasting room; the appeal is being able to experience an operating winery, learn how the wines are made and enjoy a social tasting environment in Henderson. It works especially well for Las Vegas travelers who want a wine-focused break from casinos, restaurants and nightlife while avoiding a long drive. The events program also makes the page worth checking shortly before a visit because a normal tasting-room evening can overlap with live entertainment or a themed wine event.

Nevada, contact the winery directly for current tasting flights and current-release wines.
