About Verde Vineyards
Verde Vineyards is the second act of George and Lynda Green, who moved from South County medical careers into wine after planting grapes on their Gilroy property, then grew garage winemaking into additional acreage and a dedicated tasting room.
The name works twice, the family surname and the green of the vines, and the weekend room on Buena Vista Avenue pours the results year-round, with seasonal Friday service added in summer.
