The verge is the moment just before something becomes something else: the verge of laughter, the verge of tears, the verge of understanding. Applied to natural winemaking, the verge philosophy declares wine made at the edge of intervention — minimal enough to be natural, structured enough to be wine, at the verge between the raw ferment and the finished expression. The Templeton Gap boutique produces Grenache Blanc and Carignan from contracted Westside Paso Robles vineyard sources.
