Wayfarer Wine — Sonoma Coast Winery & Tasting Room

Wayfarer Wine is named for the wayfarer — the traveler, the one who moves through the world, the pilgrim without a fixed destination who experiences the journey as the point. The Fort Ross-Seaview AVA's dramatic remoteness — accessible only by narrow mountain roads, perched above the Pacific on steep coastal ridges — creates a sense of journey in simply reaching the estate. The founding winemaker produces Pinot Noir from the Wayfarer Vineyard on the extreme Sonoma Coast, where the Pacific Ocean's influence is at its most intense. Wine Advocate has scored Wayfarer's Pinot Noir at 93–97 points.
