About Abbey Road Farm

Abbey Road Farm is a working 82-acre farm first and a winery second, which is what makes it unusual. Daniel and Sandi Wilkens acquired the property in 2017 and built it out into a destination combining an estate vineyard, an indoor-outdoor tasting room, an events venue and a bed and breakfast, all on a farm that still keeps goats, cows, alpacas, pigs, peacocks and chickens.

The lodging is the part people remember. The Silo Suites are five rooms built inside repurposed grain silos - two original feed silos plus a third constructed to match, linked by a connecting entryway - and guests get a multi-course farm-to-table breakfast made largely from what the property grows.

The vineyard is deliberately contrary. Roughly 42 gently sloping acres are farmed organically to about sixteen varieties, among them Trousseau, Gruner Veltliner, Mondeuse, Mencia and Godello, which is striking in a valley where the overwhelming majority of planted acreage is Pinot Noir. Most are bottled as single varietals rather than blended away.

Wines are made on site under both the Abbey Road Farm and Wilkens Family Reserve labels, and the tasting room also pours guest winemakers. The property is dog-friendly, family-friendly and wheelchair accessible, with a patio, vineyard views, a culinary programme and honey tastings run with the farm's own beekeepers.

Sixteen varieties, five suites inside grain silos, and a farmyard full of animals.
