About Adelsheim Vineyard
Adelsheim is Willamette Valley founding stock: David and Ginny Adelsheim planted their Chehalem Mountains hillside in 1971, and David became one of Oregon wine's great institution-builders, central to importing crucial Burgundian clones, drafting the state's strict labeling standards and establishing the Chehalem Mountains AVA itself. The estate grew into one of the valley's benchmark houses, its Elizabeth's Reserve Pinot Noir a longtime flagship.
Half a century on, the winery remains a reference for polished, age-worthy Willamette Pinot and bright whites, farmed sustainably across estate vineyards with the founding rigor intact. Few labels carry more of Oregon's origin story.
