About Alcantara Vineyards
Alcantara Vineyards is one of the largest estate wineries in Arizona's Verde Valley, with 80 acres of vineyards planted along the Verde River in Cottonwood. The estate benefits from volcanic soils, warm days, and cool high-desert nights at 3,500 feet, producing Sangiovese, Malvasia, Syrah, Petite Sirah, Viognier, and several proprietary blends. Founded by Bob Luzzi, Alcantara has become a cornerstone of the Verde Valley wine scene.
The tasting room overlooks the vineyards and the cottonwood-lined river, and the property hosts events, vineyard tours, and seasonal wine dinners. Alcantara's combination of estate-grown wines, a beautiful riverside setting, and approachable hospitality makes it one of the essential stops on the Verde Valley wine trail between Sedona and Jerome.
