About Almost Famous Wine Company
Almost Famous Wine Company is Livermore's wine-and-music hybrid: an award-winning tasting room and brand incubator on Vasco Road, in the heart of the city's urban wine, spirits and brewery district, that transforms into an intimate live music venue on weekend evenings. The winemaking team playfully spins out distinct labels, Firepit, Pistachio Lane, Wines Without Borders and Dog Day among them, exploring styles that have collected dozens of competition awards since 2021, including statewide Best of Show wins for a Primitivo, a Musque-clone Sauvignon Blanc and a Petite Sirah.
The stage is the second act, built with serious sound and lighting to host emerging bands and touring artists playing original R&B, country, Americana, folk rock and indie, with shows on Friday and Saturday nights and some Thursdays. Seating runs from reserved tables to high-top drink rails, most shows are ticketed, and due to licensing the pours are wine and soft drinks only, with the Vasco Row breweries a short walk away for the beer drinkers in your group.
This is an events-first destination rather than a drop-in tasting room: doors generally open in the evening around showtime, and the current performance calendar governs everything from tickets to seating.
