About Amista Vineyards

Amista Vineyards takes its name from the Spanish word for friendship — and the winery delivers on that promise with one of the warmest and most welcoming atmospheres on the Dry Creek Valley corridor. Founded in 2005 by Mike and Vicky Farrow, the estate produces sparkling wine, Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Zinfandel from sustainably farmed Dry Creek Valley estate vineyards.

The winery is particularly well-known for its wine-and-chocolate pairing events — a collaboration with Coco Tutti that has become a beloved Healdsburg tradition. The combination of Amista's food-friendly Rhône varietals with artisan chocolate has introduced many visitors to the pleasures of wine and chocolate pairing in a genuinely delicious and accessible format.

The estate sparkling wine program — méthode champenoise sparkling wines made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir — is one of Dry Creek Valley's most distinctive offerings, showcasing what the valley's warm-but-tempered microclimate can produce in traditional method bubbles.

Amista Vineyards presents a featured lineup that includes Sparkling Brut, Syrah, Estate Zinfandel, and GSM Blend. Together, these bottles provide a focused introduction to the varieties, vineyard sources, and style that define the winery's current portfolio.
