About Barrelhead Farm Winery

Barrelhead Farms Winery is in Willcox, Arizona, in Cochise County, at 4923 E. Arzberger Road. It is run by the Manning family, with Kief and Jeff Manning named on the regional tourism directory and Charlene Manning as marketing director. The property has its own place in Arizona wine history: it was originally developed as Kief-Joshua Vineyards by Kief Manning's father in 2005, then sold to Twisted Union Vineyards, before the Mannings took it over and built their vineyard back from scratch.

The Mannings grow their own fruit and make wine on site, and both the tasting room and the vineyard are open to visitors. Willcox is the center of Arizona grape growing, and the winery leans into that, hosting things like a bud break event where guests can watch the vines wake up after winter dormancy, and a combined whiskey and wine tasting run with Elgin Distillery.

Regular hours are not published in the directories, so check the winery's own site or call before you go. Phone numbers on file are 520-455-5582 and 520-253-3231, and the email is info@barrelheadfarms.com. One past joint tasting event was priced at $20 for a souvenir glass, five wine pours and five distillery pours, which is a rough guide rather than a current rate. Confirm current hours, tasting fee and reservation policy before you visit.
