About Bergevin Lane Vineyards
Bergevin Lane Vineyards is a Walla Walla story, not a Napa one. Founding partner and general manager Annette Bergevin is a fifth-generation Walla Walla native whose family settled its homestead land in 1903, farming wheat, barley, and peas before her father recognized the ground's potential for grapes. She launched the winery in 2002; the Bergevin Springs estate vineyard followed on the family land in 2011.
The winery makes roughly 3,000 cases a year in a 20,000-square-foot facility built to handle far more, drawing on Bergevin Springs, the LIVE Certified Sustainable Francisca's Vineyard for Syrah, and Columbia Valley fruit for Sauvignon Blanc, with a reserve tier of Malbec, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. The tasting room moved to downtown Walla Walla in spring 2020 and pours Wednesday through Saturday.
Land that grew wheat, barley, and peas for a century now grows the Bergevin family's Syrah and Cabernet.
