About Boyer Family Winery
Boyer Family Winery is a small, boutique producer of single-vineyard Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grown in the Santa Lucia Highlands of California's Central Coast. It is the California project of Vincent Boyer, a fourth-generation Burgundian winemaker who runs his family's acclaimed estate, Domaine Yves Boyer-Martenot, in Meursault in the Cote de Beaune.
Drawn to California's potential for Burgundian-style wine, Boyer sought out cool-climate fruit and partnered with Caraccioli Cellars for a long-term block in the Escolle Vineyard, a sustainably farmed site farmed with natural techniques. The wines are made in a restrained, low-intervention style with limited new oak, in tiny quantities of roughly a couple hundred cases per vintage.
