About Brashley Vineyards

Brashley Vineyards is the first-generation winery of Bram and Ashley Palm, who traded upstate New York for Anderson Valley after falling for the region at the 2017 AV Pinot Noir Festival. In 2018 they found Hacienda Sequoia, a 20-acre property whose small vineyard is planted entirely to Pommard-clone Pinot Noir with a reputation built by the skilled winemakers who tended it over the years, and later added the adjoining Bevel Vineyard for about 10 estate acres of Pinot in total.

The wines, made by winemaker Ashley Holland, are single vineyard, organically sourced and proudly Mendocino: cool-climate Pinot Noir at the core, joined by a dry Riesling, a Vin Gris of Pinot Noir and an unusual White Pinot Noir. The remodeled tasting room on Highway 128, in a space formerly operated by Brutocao, overlooks the vines with a patio, fountains, flowers and sculpture, including work by artist Nathan Mabry.

Open Friday through Monday, the room welcomes kids and dogs, walk-ins need no reservation for small parties, and chef-led pairings and winemaker dinners add an elevated food thread, with wood-fired pizza appearing on select days. It is a warm, polished newcomer in a valley that tends to reward exactly this kind of focus.
