About Brutocao Cellars
Brutocao Cellars is a family-owned winery with deep roots in Mendocino County, farming over 600 acres of estate vineyards across three properties in Hopland and Anderson Valley. The Brutocao family has been growing grapes in the region since 1943, and the winery produces a broad portfolio that includes Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from cool Anderson Valley sites alongside Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, and Primitivo from the warmer Hopland benchlands. The diversity of estate vineyards allows Brutocao to showcase the full range of Mendocino County's winemaking potential.
The Anderson Valley tasting room on Highway 128 in Philo features a bocce court, picnic grounds, and a relaxed atmosphere that invites visitors to settle in for the afternoon. A second tasting room in Hopland provides an additional point of entry to the Brutocao wines. The family's multi-generational commitment to estate-grown, sustainably farmed wines and their welcoming hospitality make Brutocao one of the cornerstones of the Mendocino wine scene.
