About Cartograph Wines
Cartograph Wines is named for the art and science of mapmaking, a deliberate metaphor for a winery whose entire philosophy is built around mapping the precise differences between individual vineyard sites. Founded in 2010 by Alan Baker and Serena Lourie, Cartograph produces single-vineyard Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Russian River Valley and Alsace-inspired whites with an unusually geographic and site-specific sensibility.
The downtown Healdsburg tasting room on Center Street, listed in AAA's Trip Canvas restaurant and attraction database as a tasting room open Tuesday through Saturday, offers an intimate, focused experience with a staff that is extraordinarily knowledgeable about the geography and terroir that shapes each wine.
