About Chateau d'Estienne
Chateau d'Estienne is the Kahwaji family's hilltop boutique winery on Omo Ranch Road in the Fair Play AVA, and it has quietly become one of the Sierra Foothills' most decorated cellars for Portuguese varietals: its 2021 Touriga Nacional took double gold at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, with golds for Souzao and Barbera bottlings behind it.
The ultra modern tasting room and patio look across the foothill ranges, tastings come with a complimentary cheese board, and Neapolitan pizza from the estate's Italian oven runs on second and fourth Saturdays.
