About Coastal Vineyards
Coastal Vineyards is located in South Dartmouth on Massachusetts' South Coast, growing grapes in the maritime-influenced climate near Buzzards Bay. The vineyard benefits from the moderating effect of the ocean, which extends the growing season and reduces the risk of extreme winter damage that limits viticulture further inland. The wines are produced from estate-grown fruit, and the tasting room offers a chance to experience wines shaped by the coastal terroir of this underappreciated wine-growing region. South Dartmouth is part of the SouthCoast wine trail that includes Westport Rivers and Running Brook, making Coastal Vineyards a natural stop on a regional wine tour.
