About Convergence Vineyards
Convergence Vineyards is named for the convergence — the meeting point, the place where separate things come together. Applied to the Shenandoah Valley, the name declares the convergence of California's wine cultures: the European immigrant traditions (Italian, German, Swiss) that settled the Sierra Foothills gold rush communities brought their vine knowledge with them, converging in the Shenandoah Valley to create one of California's most multi-heritage wine regions.
The Shenandoah Road estate produces Zinfandel, Barbera, and Tempranillo from Amador County estate vineyard sources where the European immigrant vine heritage converges with the California terroir. The daily walk-in format is dog-friendly, picnic-welcoming, and family-hospitable in the Sierra Foothills tradition.
