About David Hill Vineyards & Winery
David Hill Vineyards and Winery is one of the most historic wine properties in Oregon, with vines first planted on this Forest Grove hillside in 1883 by a German immigrant family. The estate was replanted in the 1960s and today produces Pinot Noir, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, and Tempranillo from 40 acres of sustainably farmed vineyards on the Laurelwood soils of the Tualatin Hills AVA.
The tasting room occupies the original farmstead buildings with views across the vineyard to the Coast Range. David Hill's deep historical roots, quality wines, and accessible pricing make it a rewarding destination for visitors exploring the northern Willamette Valley.
