Double Shovel presses Anchorage's cider case: the West 58th taproom ferments Alaska-grown and Pacific apples into the state's leading craft ciders, industrial-district energy and rotating taps making the south-side house the city's cider anchor. Taproom hours run daily into the evenings, and the seasonal small-batch releases reward the regulars first.
