About Durant Vineyards
Durant Vineyards is part of Red Ridge Farms, a multi-generational family estate in the Dundee Hills that combines serious Pinot Noir production with something genuinely unusual for Oregon: an olive oil operation. The Durant family planted olive trees alongside their Pinot Noir vines and has produced some of the Pacific Northwest's most acclaimed artisan olive oils — making a visit here a distinctly different kind of wine country experience.
The Pinot Noirs are produced from estate Dundee Hills fruit on the volcanic Jory soils that define the AVA's character — dark, rich, and structured, with the volcanic mineral quality that sets Dundee Hills wines apart. Winemaker Jesse Lange works with estate fruit from multiple blocks at different elevations and aspects, creating a portfolio that showcases the range within a single Dundee Hills address.
The farm store at Red Ridge is one of the most enjoyable stops in Oregon wine country — artisan olive oils, farm-fresh produce, local products, and wine tasting in a farmhouse setting with sweeping views across the valley. The combination of wine, food, and genuine farm character is genuinely distinctive.
