About Dutton-Goldfield Winery

Dutton-Goldfield Winery is one of the most consistently awarded small producers in Russian River Valley. Founded in 1998 as a partnership between legendary grower Steve Dutton, whose family has farmed the Sebastopol area for six generations, and winemaker Dan Goldfield, the winery has been named to Wine & Spirits Top 100 Wineries an extraordinary eight times.

The Dutton family's deep roots in Green Valley and the Russian River Valley, combined with Dan Goldfield's minimalist winemaking approach, produce wines of unusual precision and site-specificity. Every wine comes from a named vineyard, and the diversity of Dutton Ranch's 1,200+ acres across multiple microclimates gives Dutton-Goldfield a palette that few California producers can match.

The tasting room in Sebastopol is a relaxed and unpretentious space that belies the quality of the wines inside. Dogs are welcome, the staff is genuinely enthusiastic, and the lineup includes not just the signature Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays but surprising expressions like Gewurztraminer and Riesling.

Dutton-Goldfield Winery presents a featured lineup that includes Dutton Ranch Pinot Noir, Morelli Lane Pinot Noir, Dutton Ranch Chardonnay, and Riesling. Together, these bottles provide a focused introduction to the varieties, vineyard sources, and style that define the winery's current portfolio.
