About Eric Ross Winery

Eric Ross Winery is one of Healdsburg's most genuinely personal and intimate small producer experiences. Founded in 1994 by partners John Fiorelli and Eric Luse, who both pursued careers in photography and journalism before pivoting to wine, the winery produces tiny quantities of Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, old-vine Zinfandel, and Chardonnay with biodynamic practices and a craftsperson's attention to detail.

The winery is named for the two founders, Eric for Luse and Ross for Fiorelli's middle name, and the personal nature of the operation shows in everything from the labels to the tasting experience. The small Healdsburg tasting room on Grove Street hosts an unusually intimate and genuinely passionate experience, with the owners frequently present to discuss their wine philosophy.

The old-vine Zinfandel program, sourced from some of Dry Creek Valley and Russian River Valley's most historic plantings, is one of the most distinctive aspects of Eric Ross. The wines have a wild, unpolished character that reflects biodynamic farming and minimal intervention in the cellar.

At its Healdsburg, Sonoma County location, Eric Ross Winery presents a featured lineup that includes Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, Old Vine Zinfandel, Chardonnay, and Rosé. Together, these bottles provide a focused introduction to the varieties, vineyard sources, and style that define the winery's current portfolio.

"John and Eric's Russian River Valley passion project, biodynamic farming, old-vine Zinfandel, and single-vineyard Pinot Noir made in tiny quantities "
