Fox Barn Winery takes the most vernacular possible naming approach: the fox and the barn, two elements of the rural farming landscape combined into the estate's complete identity. The fox represents the native wildlife that inhabits the margins of the agricultural landscape, its adaptability and intelligence declaring the estate's own adaptive relationship with the Lodi Delta terrain. The barn is the fundamental agricultural structure, the working building that declares the estate's farming identity. The Lodi boutique produces old-vine Zinfandel and Grenache from Delta estate vineyard blocks.
