About Fox Barn Winery
The Fox Barn Marketplace & Winery is a family-run winery and farm market in the agricultural and recreational heartland of West Michigan, about a mile and a half south of the Silver Lake Sand Dunes. The Fox family has farmed the area for five generations; they opened the farm market in 2005, selling asparagus, cherries, peaches, pears and apples grown on the family farm, and added the winery in 2008.
Set inside a restored antique barn, the Fox Barn makes wines and hard ciders from the fruits of its own orchards and vineyard. Guests can taste at the bar and then settle onto the patio with a glass of wine or cider and views over the surrounding acres of apples and grapes, often paired with a Barn Bites food board.
The Fox Barn has become a staple of summer for Silver Lake Sand Dunes visitors, with live music on Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons, seasonal events, and a marketplace stocked with fresh produce and specialty foods.
