About Galena Cellars Vineyard & Winery
Galena Cellars is one of Illinois's founding modern wineries, established in 1979 and run by three generations of the Lawlor-White family, who have produced over fifty different red, white, and fruit wines. The country vineyard tasting room outside Galena pairs generous flights with rolling Upper Mississippi Valley views.
A second tasting room in historic downtown Galena makes it easy to sip between the shops, but locals insist the vineyard itself is the real experience. It anchors the Northern Illinois Wine Trail.
