About Gibbs Vineyards
Gibbs Napa Valley was founded in 2013 by winemaker Craig Handly and his son Spencer, and named for Dr. Lewis Gibbs Carpenter Jr., Craig's father-in-law. Handly, who previously ran the Terroir Napa Valley label, built the project on two family-farmed vineyards: the remote, spring-fed Cross Creek Vineyard and the sun-drenched Centa Vineyard, planted on some of the valley's oldest viticultural ground.
Production runs to roughly 3,500 cases a year across Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and estate Cabernet Sauvignon bottlings like Centa Vineyard and Three Clones. There is no standing public tasting room; access has historically run through walk-in pours at a downtown Napa hospitality partner and private, appointment-only vineyard visits.
Farmed at Napa Valley's narrowest point, about 3,500 feet between the Mayacamas and Vaca ranges.

"A boutique, family-run label worth correcting on the map, it's a St. Helena operation with no Atlas Peak tie, reachable only through private appointments."
