About Hamilton Family Wines
Hamilton Family Wines is a small, family-owned winery and tasting room in Kenwood, in the heart of Sonoma Valley, at 8860 Sonoma Highway. It was founded by husband-and-wife team Greg and Lindsay Hamilton, who met in Glasgow, moved to Lindsay's native California, and began making wine in a Berkeley garage before rebuilding their plans and roots in Sonoma in the wake of the 2017 wildfires.
The boutique label focuses on limited-production, hand-crafted, sustainably farmed Sonoma County wines, including Sauvignon Blanc, Rose of Grenache, Pinot Noir, a Rhone-inspired GSM and a Cabernet-based blend, sourced from distinctive vineyard sites across the county. The winery is known for warm, unpretentious hospitality and a real sense of place.
Guests can enjoy relaxed seated tastings and wine by the glass in a cozy tasting room or in the olive grove and garden, along with Golden Hour pours, seasonal events and electric-trike tours of Kenwood.
