Shared campuses and lounges where several Sonoma labels pour behind one bar: Bacchus Landing, Old Roma Station and Zina Lounge.
Sonoma County's small producers increasingly pour together. Around Healdsburg and the Sonoma Plaza, shared tasting campuses and lounges put several labels behind one bar, which makes them some of the most efficient stops on a tasting day.
Venues change hands quickly in this category, so this guide sticks to what is open now and notes recent closures at the end.
Bacchus Landing is a purpose-built tasting campus at 14210 Bacchus Landing Wy on the edge of Healdsburg, where a handful of small wineries keep side-by-side tasting rooms around a shared piazza with bocce. Open 11 A.M. to 5 P.M. daily except Tuesday and Wednesday, it works as a full afternoon: several producers, one parking spot.
Old Roma Station is a historic depot complex at 51-61 Front St in Healdsburg housing a cluster of small tasting rooms and wine businesses. It is quieter than the Plaza-side rooms and rewards wandering: several doors, several labels, no crowds.
On the Sonoma Plaza, Zina Lounge at 480 1st St E is the tasting home of Zina Hyde Cunningham, open daily 10:30 A.M. to 6 P.M., and also pours partner labels including mountain-grown Cabernet from Mountain Terraces Vineyard. A comfortable long-pour lounge rather than a stand-up bar.
Two longtime multi-winery venues have closed permanently: Hudson Street Wineries at 428 Hudson St and The Drink at 53 Front St. The Front St space now hosts Pezzi King's downtown tasting room, so the address still pours, just under a single flag.
