About Hopkins Vineyard

Hopkins pours above Lake Waramaug from land the family has farmed since 1787: the Warren estate turned to wine grapes in 1979, among Connecticut's founding modern wineries, with tastings in a nineteenth-century red barn whose hayloft wine bar overlooks one of New England's prettiest lakes.

Estate-grown whites and reds, the historic Hopkins Inn across the lane, and eleven generations of continuity make it the state trail's sentimental capital. Connecticut wine's family homestead.

Eleven generations above Lake Waramaug: the 1787 Hopkins farm, pouring from its red-barn hayloft since 1979.
