Iron Oaks is downtown's country bar with wine: owner Doug, the self-styled Vino Cowboy, pours value flights under western decor with wine descriptions written for laughs, Texas country on the playlist and a hall of fame for memorable guests, at 13th Street prices that shame the trail.
The unserious packaging hides genuinely uncommon pours; the wholesome, boot-scooting room does the rest. Yeehaw, decanted.
