About Iron Oaks Winery
Iron Oaks Winery combines two images of strength and endurance: iron, the metal that doesn't bend or break, and oaks, the trees that live for centuries and anchor landscapes through generations of change. Together, they declare wine as something built to last — structured, enduring, worth aging rather than consuming immediately.
The Peachy Canyon Road estate in the Templeton Gap District produces Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Sirah from west-side Paso Robles vineyards with the structural philosophy the name implies. The marine air that flows through the Templeton Gap creates the natural acidity and tannic framework that allows these wines to age, and Iron Oaks produces them with the same intention: built for the long haul.
The daily walk-in tasting room is dog-friendly, picnic-welcoming, and family-hospitable — the iron and oak strength expressed as genuinely accessible Templeton Gap hospitality.
