Jamie Slone Wines pours at the main entrance to the Historic El Paseo in downtown Santa Barbara's Presidio Neighborhood, surrounded by Spanish Colonial architecture, restaurants and boutiques just off State Street. The cozy tasting room and its patios have earned a loyal following, winning Favorite Winery and Favorite Tasting Room in the Santa Barbara News-Press Readers' Choice Awards.
The handcrafted lineup leans on top local vineyards and consistently strong scores: Albarino is a signature alongside Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Grenache Blanc, rose, sparkling, Pinot Noir, Grenache, Syrah, red blends and Cabernet Sauvignon, with cheese boxes, chocolates, macarons and pizza offered as pairings.
Seating is first-come or by reservation, indoors or out on the garden patios, and hidden within the original tasting room is the Santa Barbara Bubbly Lounge, a speakeasy-style nook devoted to California sparkling wine. It is an easy, welcoming anchor for a walking afternoon through the Presidio wine scene.
