J.R. Dill pours Burdett family history: named for the founder's great-grandfather, a Seneca grape-farming forebear, the east-side house bottles estate Riesling, Cab Franc and lake-country reds with lineage on the label. Tastings pour daily in season on the Hector corridor, and the lake-view deck rewards the stop between the row's bigger names.
Small-scale sincerity on the Hector corridor keeps it personal. Four generations in the name.
