About Karly Wines
Karly belongs to Amador's founding modern generation: Buck Cobb, a former fighter pilot, and his wife Karly built their Shenandoah Valley winery in the late 1970s revival era, earning a devoted following for powerful old-vine Zinfandels with memorable names like Warrior Fires and Sadie Upton, and for one of the region's more serious Sauvignon Blancs.
The house kept its scale personal and its style unmistakably Amador, dense, briary and honest. A revival-era original still flying its colors.
