Kiepersol Estates

Kiepersol Estates is the flagship destination of East Texas wine country, a sprawling multi-experience property near Tyler that combines estate vineyards with a full-service restaurant, a distillery, lodging, and one of the state's most complete wine tourism operations east of the Hill Country. The property was developed by the De Wet family, South African immigrants who brought Old World viticulture ambition to the Piney Woods.

The estate vineyard grows Blanc du Bois, Black Spanish, Lenoir, and other varieties suited to East Texas conditions, where Pierce's Disease pressure makes grape growing genuinely challenging. The decision to focus on disease-resistant and native varieties gives Kiepersol's wines an authentic East Texas character.

The visitor experience is comprehensive: guided vineyard tours, a working distillery producing spirits from estate fruit, on-site accommodations, and a restaurant with farm-to-table menus designed around the wine program. Few Texas wineries offer this level of vertical integration.
