About Kuleto Estate
Kuleto Estate is a mountaintop property in the eastern Napa hills above Lake Hennessey and Rutherford. Its vineyards are divided across varied elevations, exposures and soils, creating a broad estate portfolio. The dramatic setting has historically been a major part of the visitor appeal, but the current status is more important than the scenery: the Kuleto property remains closed to guest experiences because of impacts from the 2020 Hennessey Fire.
Visitors should not drive to the Sage Canyon Road estate for a tasting. The official visitor page states that the closure remains in effect until further notice. Instead, a full Kuleto flight is offered at sister property Foley Johnson on Highway 29 in Rutherford. That redirected tasting currently costs $55 per person, with complimentary benefits available to qualifying members of Kuleto or sister-property clubs.
The estate address should remain in the database for identity and mapping control, but it must be paired with a prominent do-not-visit warning. The Foley Johnson experience is a separate physical destination and should use Foley Johnson's current address, hours, reservation rules and guest policies. The most important editorial action is preventing an outdated itinerary from sending guests up a private mountain road.
