About La Clarine Farm
La Clarine Farm is Hank Beckmeyer's high-Sierra homestead experiment: inspired by Fukuoka's do-nothing farming, he tends untrained vines and goats on a small El Dorado ranch near Somerset, making natural wines, Rhone blends, Albarino and more, with minimal intervention that earned an international cult following.
The wines are alive, variable and full of place, farm goods more than products, sold largely through a devoted mailing list. The foothills' quiet radical.
