Layton's Chance bet the family farm: the Layton family converted their Vienna grain operation into Dorchester County's first winery, estate and fruit wines with festival lawns bringing wine country to the Nanticoke's marsh-edge flats. Hours run generous through the season, and the festival weekends give the lower Shore its biggest wine lawns.
