It built a reputation as a sustainably farmed operation known for Cabernet Sauvignon and other reds sourced from its own Suisun Valley vineyard.
In April 2014, E. & J. Gallo Winery acquired the roughly 90-hectare (220-acre) Ledgewood Creek vineyard and winery property. Following the sale, the public tasting room and winery ceased independent operation; Yelp and TripAdvisor listings for the business are marked closed, and the property now functions as a Gallo-owned vineyard rather than a publicly visitable winery.
