About Local Vines
Local Vines is the front door of Lamorinda wine: a downtown Lafayette room on Mount Diablo Boulevard that gathers the area's tiny backyard and hillside wineries into one pour, with several of the wines actually made in the cellar beneath the tasting space.
The model solves Lamorinda's defining problem, its vineyards are tucked into residential hills around Lafayette, Moraga and Orinda with no visitor infrastructure, by giving producers like Thal, Meadow View, Deer Hill, Rancho del Hambre and Raisin D'etre a shared public home.
Open Thursday and Friday evenings, Saturday 2 to 8 and Sunday afternoons, it is the one address that turns a hidden AVA into a walkable tasting; the resident producers each have their own Wino Notion pages pointing back here.
