Rancho del Hambre Winery farms five grape varieties in the Lafayette hills and lets each vintage change with the year, weather, rainfall, yield and ripening all showing in the bottle rather than being blended away.
The vintage-honest philosophy makes it the AVA's most transparent winemaking: taste across years at Local Vines and the differences are the point, not a flaw.
No independent visits are advertised; the Local Vines room on Mount Diablo Boulevard is the public door.
