About Majestic Oak Vineyard

Majestic Oak Vineyard hides one of downtown Ojai's best rooms a few steps below the sidewalk: a subterranean patio, intimate indoor tasting room and upper deck at 321 E. Ojai Avenue, pouring estate-grown wines from family vines planted in 2008.

The tasting room opened in May 2016 and has since taken Best of Ojai Gold honors from the Ojai Valley News in both 2023 and 2024, with an estate Syrah that regularly steals the show and a backyard-casual atmosphere, turntable and records included when the mood strikes.

Open daily, Sunday through Thursday 12 to 6 and Friday-Saturday 12 to 7 with last seating half an hour before close, it rounds out the downtown crawl perfectly: the firehouse at Ojai Vineyard, the Arcade at Casa Barranca, and the stairs down to Majestic Oak.

Down the stairs off Ojai Avenue: estate Syrah, a subterranean patio and back-to-back Best of Ojai Gold wins.
