Doug Margerum turned a legendary Santa Barbara restaurant career, his family's Wine Cask defined the town's wine culture, into one of the county's most respected labels, built around the M5 Rhone blend, small-lot Syrahs and crisp Sauvignon Blanc, plus an acclaimed amaro. The winery pours in downtown Santa Barbara's hospitality core.

Doug Margerum spent three-plus decades putting Santa Barbara County wine on the international map through his family’s Wine Cask restaurant and shop before turning fully to Margerum Wine Company. His Funk Zone tasting room pours elegant Burgundian and Rhone-styled wines alongside a proper menu of small bites, flatbreads, and salads.
