About Martorana Family Winery
Martorana Family Winery is a hidden gem in the Dry Creek Valley, a family-owned and operated estate whose roots stretch from Italy to Healdsburg over generations of grape growing. Tony and Diane Martorana turned years of picnicking in the valley into a dream realized, buying land on West Dry Creek Road in 1983 and building the winery in 2007.
What sets Martorana apart is its commitment to organic farming: 100% of its wines come from certified organically grown estate grapes, and the family even presses its own estate olive oil, the Olio di Gio. The lineup spans Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petite Sirah, Zinfandel, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and a Rose of Zinfandel.
Just as memorable is the setting: the tasting room is tucked into a one-of-a-kind hillside wine cave topped with a living, planted roof, alongside picnic grounds, two bocce courts and seating right on the bank of Dry Creek. Family- and dog-friendly and refreshingly casual, it's a warm, welcoming stop, open Friday through Monday, where sustainable winemaking meets easygoing hospitality.
