About Mathis Wine
Mathis is Grenache grown on faith: Peter Mathis, longtime Ravenswood hand, planted his steep Sonoma Valley hillside to Grenache when no one asked for it, and the estate bottling became the county's benchmark for the grape. A rose and occasional small-lot companions join the flagship, but the steep home hill remains the whole story.
