About McKenzie Vineyards & Winery
McKenzie Vineyards & Winery is a family operation grown from six generations of McKenzies. The family has farmed near the Mokelumne River since 1896, when the present-day vineyard in Acampo was first established, and has been producing estate wines under the McKenzie name for more than fifteen years.
The wines are made from hand-picked, estate-grown, sustainably farmed fruit and include Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Old Vine Zinfandel. The winery's tasting room is a small, quaint, comfortable spot in the heart of downtown Lodi on West Elm Street, a short walk from the city's other downtown rooms.
Because it is family-run with limited staff, hours can be modest and are worth confirming, and the team is happy to arrange private tastings. Every bottle is framed as a tribute to the McKenzie generations, past and future.
