About Mercy Wines
Mercy Wines is a small-production Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir and Chardonnay label focused on single-vineyard expressions from the cooler western reaches of Sonoma County. The project draws fruit from established coastal sites where maritime influence drives long, slow ripening and natural acidity, conditions that produce wines with the kind of structure and restraint that invite extended cellaring.
Single-vineyard transparency is central to the Mercy Wines philosophy. Each bottling is labeled by vineyard source, allowing wine lovers to trace the distinctive character of specific Sonoma Coast sites across vintages. The Pinot Noir program shows the range of expression available within the appellation, from lighter, more floral examples to deeper, more savory interpretations depending on the vineyard's elevation, aspect, and soil composition.
Production is intentionally small, keeping the focus on quality over volume and ensuring that each wine receives the individual attention that single-vineyard winemaking demands. The Chardonnay releases, while less numerous than the Pinot program, demonstrate the same commitment to site specificity and are among the more compelling cool-climate California whites produced each vintage.
