About Michael David Winery
Michael David is Lodi's global ambassador: brothers Michael and David Phillips, fifth-generation Lodi farmers whose family has worked the region's soil since the 1860s, turned a farm-stand operation into one of America's most successful wineries on the strength of boldly branded Zinfandels, Freakshow, Earthquake and their kin, that carried old-vine Lodi to shelves worldwide.
The family remains grower-first, farming thousands of acres to LODI RULES standards, and the Highway 12 tasting room with its cafe and farm stand keeps the origin visible. The portfolio spans Freakshow, Earthquake, Seven Deadly, Petite Petit, Inkblot, Rapture, Misfits & Mavens and the Michael David label itself. Lodi's biggest megaphone, family-held.

A curated flight of five wines at the wine bar. Groups of 1-6 are served walk-in with no reservation required. Wine tasting runs daily 10am to 5pm, with the last pour at 4:30pm.

Group Tasting (7-12 guests)
A curated flight of five wines with a designated server for your party. Reservations are highly recommended. Parties larger than 12 are asked to contact the winery to arrange a personalized tasting.

Outdoor Seating & Grounds
The grounds are first come, first served: pond-view and garden tables, no reservation needed for groups of six or fewer. Self-serve outdoor seating runs 10am to 5pm.

The Cafe
A full breakfast and lunch menu, with meat sourced from the local 4H program. Breakfast runs 8:00am to 11:30am and lunch 11:30am to 3:00pm. Seating is first come, first served, so check in with the cafe host on arrival.

The Outdoor Bistro
Walk-up food and drink service with wood-fired pizzas, salads and sandwiches. Open seasonally March through November and closed for the winter. The Bistro menu differs from the indoor Cafe menu.

Bakery & Farm Stand
Handmade signature pies made from Michael and David's mother's recipe, plus seasonal produce grown onsite or locally in Lodi at the farm stand. Packaged charcuterie plates are sold in the store for enjoying around the property.
