About Milicevic Family Vineyard
Milicevic Family Vineyard is located in Abita Springs on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain, a community better known as the home of Abita Brewing Company. The vineyard grows Muscadine grapes and produces wines on a family property in one of southeastern Louisiana's most charming small towns. The Northshore's slightly cooler microclimate and well-drained soils give Milicevic a small but real advantage over vineyards in the lower-lying parishes closer to the coast. The tasting room is a family affair, and the vineyard provides a wine counterpoint to Abita Springs' established beer culture.
