About Moraga Vineyards
Moraga is Los Angeles's most improbable estate: a genuine vineyard in Bel Air, planted in the late 1980s by Tom Jones, the longtime Northrop aerospace chief, on a canyon property whose sandstone soils and fog-cooled mornings yield small lots of acclaimed Bordeaux-style red and Sauvignon Blanc. Rupert Murdoch purchased the estate in 2013.
Made seriously and priced like the zip code, Moraga proves fine wine can grow where mansions do. Bel Air terroir, no irony intended.
